Sinéad O'Connor Targets New Feud With Simon Cowell!
Sinéad O'Connor puts an end to the Miley feud but tries to start another with music mogul Simon Cowell.
Sinéad O'Connor isn't wasting any of her time in the limelight, as she attempts to ignite a new feud with music mogul, Simon Cowell.
The Irish singer recently entered a feud with 20 year-old Miley Cyrus, after writing her an open letter, asking Cyrus to stop "prostituting" her body.
The wise words weren't taken kindly by the 'Wrecking Ball' singer and thus a war of words ensued, via twitter and Facebook.
However, O'Connor is now concerning herself with the apparent death of Rock 'n' Roll and she is blaming the fatality on non-other than Simon Cowell.
The 46 year-old blamed the X-Factor judge in an interview on the 'Late Late Show' in Ireland this past Friday (Oct 4th) for harming real music artists with his television talent shows.
She told host Ryan Tubridy, "I feel sorry for the murder of music and rock 'n' roll, which has happened because of the industry, Because of Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh - they've murdered music. I stand to say it on behalf of every musician in the world and they'll agree with me".
"The industry has taken over so much, the money-making side of it, the sexualising of extremely young people making records, and all the worship with money and bling and diamonds, all the Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh - it all amounts to the murder of music and that's what concerns me", she added.
The singer-songwriter also took this chance to announce the end of her recent feud with Cyrus, as she said, "It's about music being murdered, it's not actually about Miley", adding, "As far as I'm concerned it's over, it's not something I really want to talk about."
O'Connor seemed to be most upset at the fact that Cyrus compared Amanda Bynes to O'Connor, attempting to mock that they both have suffered from mental health issues.
"I was upset on behalf of Amanda Bynes, not for myself. I'm used to it. I thought it was a nasty thing to do. She had nothing to do with the conversation and also the poor girl is in hospital receiving treatment for the very illness she's being knocked for having".
She continued, "It was a very nasty time to expose a girl but I doubt Miley is a person who sat down and maliciously thought that I want to hurt Amanda Bynes."
Does this mean O'Connor will not pursue any legal action against Cyrus for not publicly apologising? For now the feud seems to have extinguished, but the public will now be waiting for a response from Mr Cowell himself!
