Sandra Bullock's Intruder Faces New Gun Charges For Owning 'Arsenal Of Weapons'

The man who pleaded not guilty to breaking into the home of Sandra Bullock was hit with new charges on Wednesday (June 19th).

The intruder, Joshua James Corbett, who is suspected of breaking into the 49 year-old actress' house in the early hours of June 8th while she was inside, has been charged for possessing an arsenal of weapons.

Authorities found the items, which included several machine guns, when they searched his Montrose home shortly after getting arrest in the home-intruder case.

The Los Angeles County district attorney's office charged Corbett with 19 felony counts, which included 7 counts of possession of a machine gun, 2 counts of a possession of an illegal assault weapon and 10 counts of possession of a destructive device, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The 39 year-old pleaded not guilty on Wednesday while been arraigned for the gun charges, his bail was set at $2 million.

Last week he also pleaded not guilty for breaking into the Los Angeles home of the Hollywood actress. He was charged with "one felony count each of first-degree residential burglary, stalking and possession of a machine gun," according to the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office.

The local authorities responded to a 911 call and arrested the stalker, was described as a "hot prowler suspect," at approximately 6.30 a.m.

A day later, Bullock was given a temporary emergency protective order against Corbett, which will be issued for five days only, according to an LAPD officer.

Prosecutors have confirmed that a weapon was not on him at the time of the break-in, but a machine gun was found in his home in a search conducted on June 9th.

If Corbett is found guilty of all charges, he could face up to 12 years in prison.
