It has only been a matter of days since news surfaced that Robin Thicke and his actress wife Paula Patton were separating.

But the 37 year-old singer is already thinking of the future, and that means more touring.

Due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding Thicke's marriage, he has had to cancel one of his shows scheduled for Tuesday (Feb 25th), at the Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort in North Carolina.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Robin Thicke will postpone his performance at Harrah's Cherokee originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 25," read a statement on the venue's official website.

"This concert will be rescheduled and the new date announced as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience."

However, the 'Blurred Lines' singer will not let this happen again and has issued a message to all his fans, stating he cannot wait to start touring again, with the first stop coming this Thursday in Washington D.C.

"I want to thank everyone for the well wishes these last few days. My fans mean everything to me," Thicke wrote on his own website. "I'm looking forward to getting back on out on the road and performing in Washington DC this Thursday, and the rest of the tour."

"Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!" he added.

Robin and his wife of eight years, Patton, announced that they were separating this past Monday (Feb 24th), and they both released a joint statement which read;

"We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time."

The soon-to-be divorcee's, who met during high school, share a three year-old son, called Julian Fuego Thicke, together.
