Robin Thicke’s public appeals to Paula Patton are getting to be a bit sad at this point, but he just keeps on going – even during concerts. On Thursday, Thicke performed a gig in Fairfax, Virginia, which included a special message for Paula before one of his songs.

'For y'all that don't know me and my wife separated, but I'm trying to get my girl back. She's a good woman,' the 36-year-old told the audience, before launching into Lost Without U, according to The Daily Mail. Oh boy.

Robin Thicke, Grammy Gala Party
A week after their separation, Thicke is trying to win back his wife.

But that wasn’t it by far. To top off the already somber mood, he also wore his wedding ring throughout the show. No reports on whether there were lingerie models dancing about the stage at any point. The emotional display came after Thicke vented to some paparazzi earlier in the day. Before some TMZ photographers, Thicke said that he was “trying to get her back”.

The couple announced their split on Monday and have been the talk of gossip websites since then. The antics come after the couple told People magazine in a joint statement: 'We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time.'

Rumors of marital trouble began last year, but the couple never showed any sign of trouble until the announcement.

Before the marital trouble came to light , Thicke cancelled three concerts over the weekend, although it looks like he’s back on that horse now. Curiously enough, the Mail reports that while the Blurred Lines singer was announcing his undying love in front of a crowd of strangers, his estranged wife was being bombarded with flowers at her Hollywood home.
