Pierce Brosnan once turned down 'Batman' before Michael Keaton got the job. Keaton just made an Oscar-tipped movie, Brosnan is 'The November Man'.
Oh Pierce Brosnan - isn't there a decent role out there for you somewhere? Can't you delve deep into that old pile of scripts in the corner and dust off a little independent nugget? Maybe we're being a little too hard on the former Bond actor - Love Is All You Need was pretty good - but one thing's for sure: The November Man, Brosnan's latest movie, is a stone-cold dud.

"It's called "The November Man," but it's really just another forgettable August release," said Robert Abele of the Los Angeles Times.
"The film is nearly over before you begin to wonder why it's called "The November Man," and giving any thought to the explanation is beside the point," said Ben Kenigsberg of the New York Times.

"Runs through spy movie cliches with such dogged obligation that it often plays like a YouTube compilation of scenes from older, better thrillers, generating little overall tension and only occasionally approaching basic coherence," said Andrew Barker of Variety.
"Bad. Really bad. This wannabe Bond movie features many elements of Brosnan's Bond films except for one: quality. This is easily one of the year's worst films," said John Hanlon Reviews.
'The November Man', directed by The Bank Job's Roger Donaldson, hits cinemas in the U.S this weekend.
