His family and friends have also said that they are still coming to terms with the actor's sudden death
Paul Walker's death was sudden and unexpected and perhaps unsurprisingly his family and friends are still struggling to come to terms with his death. As they come to terms with the actor's tragic demise, a report from HollywoodLife.com has revealed that his family will finally begin planning their final farewell to the star, in what has been deemed a "special funeral" service.
Walker has been fondly remembered since his passing
"They have not decided when the funeral will take place, it is still a work in progress,” a friend of Paul and his family told the gossip site. “They want to make sure that everyone who wants to mourn will be together and all schedules match. They hopefully will have more of an idea next week.”
The funeral will come following an outpouring of grief from friends, family, fans and co-workers, who have been regularly sending their regards to Paul's memory and to his loved ones. His Fast & Furious cast mates were among the most vocal to leave tributes to the late star, with Vin Diesel leading the tributes for his "brother" Walker. Paul's daughter, Meadow, also left an emotional tribute for her late father on her FaceBook account.
The Fast & Furious star will be laid to rest at a suitable time
A private memorial has already been held at the site of the crash, with Walker's close family and friends paying their respects to the the late actor at the spot where he perished. The upcoming memorial will be a more official sending off, so that all of his family and friends can give him a fitting sending off.
Walker was a passenger in a special edition Porche that lost control in Santa Clarita, smashing into a tree and bursting into flames upon impact. Both the driver, Roger Rodas, and Walker were killed at the crash site, with an autopsy report confirming that both died from "combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries."
