Outside Lands Festival 2013 To Bring You Much More Than Music This Year

Outside Lands 2013

The Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival is back on August 9th - 11th 2013 bringing us the best in art and music as we see the likes of Paul McCartney, Nine Inch Nails and Red Hot Chili Peppers top this year's bill.

San Francisco hosts this annual festival which has soared in popularity since the first event in 2008. It takes place at Golden Gate Park and, as well as some brilliant bands and artists being on show all weekend, presents some fantastic food and drink offerings from the Bay Area. Food includes everything from mac and cheese and hot dogs to falafel and noodles and there'll be food trucks and special cheese and chocolate stalls good enough to pull you away from the awesome music for a while. There'll also be a wide array of wines and beers to enjoy plus live painting and Levi's Mobile Bike Shop as Outside Lands is all about being eco-friendly and reducing our carbon footprints.

However, it's really about the music and Outside Lands, as usual, fails to disappoint. As well as the cracking headliners we've already listed, we'll be seeing live sets from electronic artist Pretty Lights, French rock band Phoenix, Chicago DJ Kaskade, Grammy nominated indie rockers Yeah Yeah Yeahs and US Album Chart-toppers Vampire Weekend.

All tickets are now sold-out though there are still some 3-Day Shuttle Passes left, with limited availability, at $39.00 each to take you to and from the festival each day. So, if you haven't already, get hold of one as there parking is extremely limited and all parking passes are now sold out.
