It looks like Atlanta's Music Midtown festival is on its way back up as 2013 brings us the biggest line-up since its return from a six year hiatus.

We are back to where we started with Midtown, which takes place on September 10th - 21st at Piedmont Park, as we see a 2 day, 2 stage event just like its debut in 1994. We've still got a long way to go before it's back at its peak with 3 days and 6 stages, but the line-up hasn't far off doubled from last year and another stage has been added too. The excitement when it was announced that Midtown was making its return in 2011 is hard to beat, but we reckon this year's line-up could reel in an even more impressive overall ticket sale.

The Electric Ballroom Stage on Friday sees French rockers Phoenix shake things up, while legendary 80s band Journey make what will no doubt be a fantastic closing performance for the night. The Great Southeast Music Hall Stage sees Jane's Addiction make an exciting appearance, and if you fancy a break from guitars, hip hop star 2 Chainz will perform early in the evening. If you're only going to manage one day, though, make it Saturday; the Arctic Monkeys and Weezer join the eclectic Electric Ballroom Stage, with Great Southeast featuring Imagine Dragons and Queens Of The Stone Age and talented rapper Kendrick Lamar highlighting the smaller Roxy Stage. Headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers are obviously the main attraction - make sure you don't miss their two-hour set because it will definitely make your year.

General admission tickets are still available at $110 for a weekend ticket, $50 for a Friday pass and $85 for just Saturday, as are VIP tickets at $500 for the weekend and $250 for either day. Super VIP weekend passes are still hanging around but you'll have to cough up $1000 for those privileges - which include complimentary food, private areas, T-shirts, valet parking and premium viewing areas. Day super VIP passes are no longer available.
