Miley Cyrus. What on earth is going on? We are really sorry that your very adorable dog Floyd sadly passed away, and we totally get that you are going to be feeling pretty down in the dumps, but, dude, really? Breaking down while singing to a gigantic inflatable of him is just not normal behavior, no matter how many times we try to rationalise it.

Miley Cyrus floydThe contraversial star is finding it difficult to deal with the death of her dog

We’ve been mourning Floyd too, there’s no pain quite like losing a loved pet, but you’ve got to pick yourself back up. Particularly when you have a show scheduled and thousands of expectant and excited fans. Although, it turns out Miley doesn’t agree, as she cancelled her show 30 minutes before it was due to start, allegedly suffering from flu. Concert goers will of course be refunded, but we doubt that will cure their disappointment.

It’s also unclear quite how true it is that the reason for cancelling was due to Miley being struck down with flu. The star’s tweets since the death of her beloved pup have been increasing erratic. At 3.40am one morning she posted “Im trying 2 tweet about it rather than screaming and waking up the entire hotel! I wanna f****** screaaam. Im so f****** angry at the world”, as well as “I wanna sleep but all I can do is cry. I never wanna go home to a house where Floyd isn't running & playing. how do I get thru this.”

Miley’s mom could see her daughter’s heartbreak, and trying to ease it presented her with a new puppy to love. Miley has named the new pup Moonie, although she is having trouble bonding with the new baby. “I feel physically sick & I am so emotionally and physically exhausted I feel like I have nothing to give sweet baby Moonie”, the We Can’t Stop singer tweeted. We could totally give that pup the love it needs, it may be the cutest ball of fluff we’ve ever seen.

Miley Cyrus dogsMiley tweeted this photo of her dogs a while back.  Recently deceased Floyd is second to front.

Miley’s worrying tweets combined with her performance on stage with a huge inflatable Floyd are disturbing for those who care about the singer. When Cyrus broke up with ex-fiancee Liam Hemsworth she didn’t publicly seem half as distraught as she does over the loss of her beloved pooch. It’s led many to believe that her grief is the reason she cancelled her North Carolina concert, rather than coming down with the flu. We hope Miley gets the help that she needs to recover from the death of Floyd, it’s clearly hit her much harder than any of us can comprehend.

Have any of you taken the death of a pet as badly as Miley Cyrus seems to be?
