Michael Jackson's Children Open Up About Life With Their Late Father In New Documentary
For the first time ever Michael Jackson's three children discuss their late father in a set of candid interviews for the new documentary 'Remembering Michael'.
It has been over four years since the death of music's greatest pop-star, Michael Jackson, back in 2009.
For the first time ever the King of Pop's youngest son, Blanket, speaks to the world about his father.
The 11 year-old joins the rest of his siblings by giving fans a rare look into their thoughts and lives in a new documentary titled 'Remembering Michael', ABC News reports.
The trailer, which has emerged online, contains short clips of interviews with Blanket, Prince, 16, and Paris, 15 as well as their grandfather Joe Jackson, 85.
The youngest sibling spoke of his future aspirations and shared his father's same love for animals. "I'm going to try to help, like, Africa, because that's a very poor continent," Blanket said.
"There's a lot of animals that are being killed from, like, poachers and stuff. So, I want to help, like, endangered species of animals."
Prince unveiled who the 'Thriller' singer was to him, "It took me until I was, like, 6 years old, to learn that his name was Michael Jackson," he said. "He was always 'Daddy' to me."
He also candidly spoke about what their father wanted them to do, "He wanted us to always...be greater at it than anybody else had ever been."
Jackson's only daughter revealed her father's efforts to keep their childhood private, "We didn't know a lot of kids, like, our age. We were more secluded. We never really left the ranch that often."
She continued, "He promised me he would teach me how to moonwalk. He never got around to it."
The documentary, which is produced by the family matriarch Katherine Jackson (age 83), can only be viewed online at Fundanything.com for a fee of $10.
The project has a fundraising target of $3.2 million and Katherine, Michael's mother, stated, "I'm inviting all of Michael's fans to join me, Prince, Paris and Blanket to finish this wonderful project. Please join us." Adding, "I'd love to have you."
