Madonna’s new album has leaked online in an unfinished form. The pop megastar has been working on her thirteenth studio album throughout 2014, and has not yet officially revealed a title, final tracklisting or a release date.

However, thirteen tracks appeared online on Wednesday courtesy of unnamed internet pirates, and they included officially confirmed titles such as ‘Rebel Heart’, ‘Make the Devil Pray’ and ‘Joan of Arc’.

Madonna was enraged by the leak, describing it as "artistic rape" and "a form of terrorism"

Madge soon struck back, communicating to her fans by posting on her Instagram account. She said: “Thank you for not listening! Thank you for your loyalty! Thank you for waiting and if you have heard please know they are unfinished demos stolen long ago and not ready to be presented to the world.”

Later in the day, she went on the attack by strongly denouncing those responsible for the leak. “This is artistic rape!! These are early leaked demo’s [sic] half of which won’t even make it on my album the other half have changed and evolved. This is a form of terrorism. Wtf!!!! Why do people want to destroy artistic process??? Why steal? Why not give me the opportunity to finish and give you my very best?”

She later deleted this second post, having come under attack on Twitter for the insensitive comparisons to terrorism in the wake of the Sydney and Peshawar terrorist attacks.
