The first Latino action hero returns to the big screen as Danny Trejo reprises 'Machete Cortez' in 'Machete Kills' and yields his deadly blade in this sequel to the 2010 film 'Machete'. The upcoming movie is also the third based from the exploitation 'Grindhouse' fake trailers and is directed, produced and co-written by Ricardo Rodriquez.

Other actors who will be reprising their roles are Michelle Rodriquez as the one -eyed rebel, Jessica Alba and Tom savini, and the new comers to the bloody epic are Charlie Sheen, Sofia Vergara, Mel Gibson, Lady GaGa, Antonio Banderas and many more.

The film's premise follows 'Machete Cotez' as he is recruited by US President Rathcock (Sheen) to stop a madman called 'Mendez' from launching a weapon into space, but the Mexican spy soon realises the real danger lies with billionaire arms dealer 'Luther Voz' (Gibson) who has launched a conspiracy that has triggered riots in every country.

The director, Rodriquez, is well-known for his fondness of outrageous stories lines and his latest venture delivers just that. Vegara plays a brothel owning, man hating fierce female called 'Desdemona', whose 32F brassieres contains a semi-automatic weapon.

Lady Gaga's first big screen role takes on the form of a cigarette-smoking, gun-toting siren, bounty-hunter known as 'La Chameleon'. Fans of the first 'Machete' will recognise Michelle Rodriguez's return as 'Luz' who hooks up with former partner 'Cortez' to take down the 'Voz' and his crew.

There are cameos in the film of Cuba Gooding Jr and Antonio Banderas, who play the shape-shifting assassin 'El Chameleon'. Amber Heard plays the strange combination of a Beauty Queen/Assassin, with 'Spy Kids' Alexa Vega upgrading to the machine gun handling, adult spy world.
