The singer has apologised for the photo stunt that saw him stand on the 34 floor ledge of a skyscraper
One Direction star Liam Payne has said that he is sorry for his "extremely dangerous" photo stunt, in which the boyband singer stood 34 floors above the ground on the edge of a skyscraper. He described the stunt as "stupid" and "irresponsible" and apologised to any fans who were distressed by the picture.
Liam apologise profusely for trying to have a laugh with friends
The teen idol took to Twitter to apologise for the photo opportunity, which inexplicably made its way on to the front page of some UK tabloids on what wasn't exactly a slow news day, tweeting, "You may have seen a photo of me today taken on top of a building. I regret being there and having a photo taken."
He followed up his initial tweet saying, "It was a stupid and irresponsible thing to do. I am sorry, and do not endorse any fans trying to repeat this, as it is extremely dangerous."

The photo of him on the skyscraper ledge has since been removed from his Twitter page, but not from the scared minds of his delicate fans. Having apologised to those delicate few, the haters are still waiting for his apology for not jumping from the ledge, not that we'd count ourselves among them.
The 1D star had plenty of grovelling to do yesterday (14 Jan.), as he had earlier been apologising to fans for not wanting them to stalk him outside his home. Explaining that he is aware that many fans know where his home is, mostly through tweets from friends who have visited, he politely asked for fans to give him some privacy so he can "walk outside as everyone does and enjoy time with my friends."
He tweeted after: "Sorry if I've been rude to anyone but I've come to realise if I take one picture more people keep coming everyday xxx hope everyone's good."
Sorry lads but if you wanted privacy you shouldn't have become famous
