But how did it match up to the festival's stellar opening day?

The Saturday show kicked off with British rock legend Paul McCarthy who performed a nine song set, including classic tracks ‘Live and Let Die’ and ‘Lady Madonna’. The 71 year-old also took the opportunity to promote his upcoming album ‘New’ as the former Beatle played mostly songs off the unreleased album including its title track and first single. ‘New’ will be released on October 15th 2013.

The star-studded line-up included Canadian rapper Drake, who played such hits as ‘Started from the Bottom’ and ‘HYFR’ ahead of his new album ‘Nothing was the Same’ hitting stores this Tuesday (Sept 24th). Bruno Mars received an enormous ovation as his live performance proved why he is a worthy candidate to headline the Super Bowl halftime show this February. Mars kicked off his segment with ‘Locked out of Heaven’ and ‘Treasure’ and then calmed the upbeat crowd with his soulful love song ‘If I Was Your Man’.

Justin Timberlake rounded off the male performances as well as closing the night by giving the audience a first-time-ever live performance of 3 new tracks including the recently released ‘TKO’ from the highly anticipated upcoming album ‘the 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2’. Timberlake’s set was a mix of the old and new as the lucky audience members watched him perform older hits such as ‘Cry Me A River’ and ‘My Love’.

However, once again Miley Cyrus’ antics prove to overshadow the singer’s performance, as she beckoned the stage wearing a mesh white dress, exposing a pair of black panties and pasties over her nipples.

What does she want the audience to think about during her live act?

While performing her new single ‘Wrecking Ball’, the 21 year old suddenly broke down with tears streaming from her face, most probably because of the recent announced that she and actor Liam Hemsworth called off their engagement.

However the ‘twerking’ recording artist seemed to be fine later in the evening as she wrote on twitter, “I❤️ RADIO over and done #VEGAS 2 weeks until #bangerZ”.

At this point the audience may find it hard sympathize with the young star as this could just be another attempt to get the pubic talking about her, which is what exactly happened from the now infamous ‘MTV Movie Awards’ performance earlier this year (August).

Britney Spears, who introduced Miley to the stage, collaborted with her on the upcoming album ‘Bangerz’, which is scheduled for release on October 4th 2013.
