L'Wren Scott's Sister Hates Mick Jagger For Finding New Lover
The late fashion designer's sister Jan Shane blasts the rock singer for already being involved in a new fling: "I now believe that he was a bigger part of her troubles than we knew about."
The sister of the late L'Wren Scott isn't too happy with Mick Jagger.
The grief-stricken Jan Shane has been left feeling furious after learning that the Rolling Stones frontman has already moved on with another women, 27 year-old Melanie Hamrick.
The 53 year-old became even angrier when it was revealed Jagger met his new love weeks before Scott tragically committed suicide.
"The more I think about it, the angrier it makes me. My sister deserves more respect," she said to The Mirror. "It hasn't even been three months since she died. I now believe that he was a bigger part of her troubles than we knew about."
The legendary rocker met Hamrick, who is a New York ballet dancer, when the Stones played in Tokyo on February 24th. He then flew her out from the US to Zurich, where the pair were photographed embracing each other on the hotel balcony on June 1st.
"My sister deserved so much more than that. It's a terrible thing for Mick to have done. It's sad. His life goes on as if nothing happened. He's still out with women, but a huge part of our family is missing," Shane continued to rant.
But the late fashion designer's older sister isn't surprised that the 70 year-old singer has already bagged himself a young mistress.
"It doesn't surprise me at all. I'm just really glad that L'Wren doesn't have to put up with him anymore," Shane said. "She had accomplished so much without him. She was amazing in so many people's eyes. He just needs to quit dragging her name through his crap!"
Ms Scott, who was a decorated fashion designer, was found dead in her New York apartment after an apparent suicide. The 49 year-old's assistant found her hanging from a scarf on a doorknob at 200 11th Avenue around 10am, on Monday morning (March 17th), police said.
Jagger and Scott were together since 2001
