L'Wren Scott's Autopsy Report Confirms Suicide As Body Is Moved To Funeral Home

The girlfriend of Rolling Stone's Mick Jagger, L'Wren Scott, did definitely commit suicide.

The established fashion designer's autopsy report confirms that her death was self-inflicted, a spokeswomen from the New York Medical Examiner's office stated Wednesday (March 19th).

Scott's body has now been moved to a funeral home based in New York.

The 49 year-old was found dead in her New York apartment after what police have called an 'apparent suicide' until it was officially determined that this was the cause of death.

Scott's assistant found her hanging from a scarf on a doorknob at 200 11th Avenue around 10 a.m. on Monday morning (March 17th).

Mick Jagger is still "struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way," and due to needing time to grieve, the band have canceled seven upcoming shows in New Zealand and Australia.

On the same day as the autopsy was released, Jaggers' fellow band members released their own statements, expressing their support.

"No one saw this coming," said Richards, via Rolling Stone. "Mick's always been my soul brother and we love him. We're thick as thieves and we're all feeling for the man. We really hate to disappoint our fans, but we'll see everyone really soon."
