Kris and Bruce Jenner may be leading separate lives happily, but possibly not for much longer as they have no pre-nup. This means things could get nasty if the two divorce and attempt to carve up $125 million, as reported by USA Today. Whatever the outcome for the couple, there's going to be some very interested lawyers who will, no doubt, already be scavenging around the metaphorical carcass of their marriage.

Kris Jenner
Kris Jenner claims she regrets divorcing Robert Kardashian in 1991.

The couple announced their split earlier this week, speaking exclusively to E!, the home of their numerous reality series. Kris is attempting to put on a brave face, claiming she and Bruce will continue to have an amicable relationship. When she announced the news of their split to E!, Kris stated "we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority." However it seems unlikely the situation will remain so if the situation is aggravated by decisions relating to the division of money and property.

The matriarch of the reality star family has been married to Bruce for 22 years; she was previously married to Robert Kardashian. Kardashian, best known for his defence of O.J. Simpson in the notorious murder case, fathered four of Kris' six children. In a recent interview she stated (in New You magazine) that her biggest regret was divorcing Kardashian in 1991. However, Kris has a more stoic view stating "everything happens for a reason, and we learn from our mistakes. I thought I was so smart when I was young; I was fearless." Furthermore, had Kris never married Bruce "there wouldn't have been Kendall and Kylie, so that's the way I look at it."

In the midst of her split from Bruce it seems somewhat insensitive on Kris' part to even hint that she regrets her 22 years of, seemingly, contented marriage with Bruce. On the other hand, as she is emphasising how amicable her divorce from Kardashian was perhaps this is a deliberate ploy to put Bruce's mind at ease. She further complimented Kardashian in the interview stating how similar her son Rob is to her late ex-husband (Kardashian died in 2003), she stated "it's an amazing reminder of what an amazing dad Robert was. He was a great husband and a good person."
