Kim Kardashian Marries Kanye West - Details We Know So Far

Fans of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will be delighted to hear news of their nuptials is finally trickling through from leaking guests and awaiting paparazzi. The couple married yesterday (Saturday 24th May) in Italy after months of speculation surrounding their wedding. So here's what we know so far.

Paris Or Florence?

Or both! Reports the couple were to celebrate their wedding in both Paris and Florence proved to be founded as the couple spent Friday (23rs) in Paris, holding a lavish party at the Palace of Versailles before heading to Florence on Saturday.

On Friday the couple and their guests enjoyed a lunch at the Chateau de Wildeville, the house owned by designer Valentino. The Chateau and its estate dates back to the 16th century and is situated just outside Paris. Following their lunch, the wedding party prepared for a lavish celebration at the Palace of Versailles where, in costume, they were attended by performers dressed as musketeers, as the BBC reports.

Their wedding occurred on Saturday and the couple travelled to Florence where, as rumours had previously suggested, they were wed at Fort Belvedere.

The Food?

Wedding guest, designer Tracey Mills, shared a picture of the wedding menu on Instagram. The guests were certainly in for a treat as the menu offered options including homemade pasta stuffed with ricotta cheese thyme and marjoram, monkfish filet in curst of aromatic herbs, beef filets, potato tarts and truffle green beans, and homemade strawberry sorbet.

Rob Kardashian - Did He Attend?

Robert Kardashian, Kim's brother, apparently did not attend the event as he was spotted returning to Los Angeles by numerous paparazzi. He was photographed arriving at LAX on Saturday, at the same time the wedding was taking place more than 6000 miles away in Florence. According to TMZ, there was a major family argument on Friday evening and he was apparently in tears whilst desperately trying to book a flight home.

Did Jay-Z And Beyoncé Boycott The Event?

Rumours began circulating months before the Kimye ceremony that Jay-Z and Beyoncé would not be attending. Although Beyonce is close friends with Kanye, reports suggest she may not be overly fond of Kim, although she has vehemently denied this.

It seems the couple did not attend the event, as Beyoncé's Instagram pictures suggest. Beyoncé added a selfie to her account and certainly did not appear dressed for a wedding! However, she did send her congratulations by posting a picture of Kanye, Kim and North from their Vogue shoot of April. Beyoncé added the caption "Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love. God bless your beautiful family."
