It seems Kenan Thompson is getting tired of working on a Saturday night. The comedic actor is reportedly planning on leaving 'Saturday Night Live' at the end of the upcoming season, after being part of the comedy sketch show for over a decade.

TMZ first reported the news, and noted that the 36 year-old actor initially wanted to make his 'SNL' departure at the end of last season, but decided to stay on after producer Lorne Michaels requested him to.

Thompson, who made his 'SNL' debut in 2003 and is the longest running African-American cast member in the show's history, is allegedly wanting to move to Los Angeles to star in a brand new show. TMZ also said that he is leaving NBC on very good terms.

However, a rep for 'SNL' has come forward to blast the gossip site's report as completely false, calling it "inaccurate," and revealing that "cast decisions aren't made until the end of the season," in a statement to Entertainment Tonight.

The former 'Kenan and Kel' star, who has appeared on-screen for 'SNL' more times than anyone else apart from Darrell Hammond, Seth Meyers and Fred Armisen, is known for his various impressions and recurring characters, such as D'Andre Cole.
