How does a pop princess blow off steam? With a human punching bag, of course! Well, that's according to Katy Perry.

Perry gives a candid interview with the magazine

In her new interview with Harper's Bazaar, Katy talks about how she deals with the stress of her job. She says that on a bad day, she's "quieter. I can snap a little bit, be a little bitchy to the couple of people around me. Tamra, my assistant, is my closest punching bag. But she’s strong and understands that I have a lot of pressure on me sometimes." She also says that she meditates "five to six times a week and has an “act-out day about every four to six months. I’ll have a cigarette, which I know is absolutely horrible for me, after a few drinks when I’m having a week off. I don’t do black tar heroin."

Perry is currently travelling the world with her mammoth Prismatic Tour which spans 140 dates, running until March 2015. Her last album, 'Prism', went to Number 1 in six countries, with singles 'Roar' and 'Dark Horse' also topping the charts. She's not just a singer, though; she also has her own range of perfumes, and leant her voice to The Smurfs and Smurfs 2 as Smurfette. With 54.9 million Twitter followers, Perry is one of the most influential pop stars working today, all before she's thirty years old (her birthday is in October).

Perry is currently single following her split from John Mayer earlier this year, and had this to say on her ideal man: "I’m looking for someone who’s inspired and could be inspiring with me."
