Kanye West refused to continue performing at a concert in Australia on Friday (12th September) until everyone in the crowd stood up. Unfortunately he failed to realise that two members of the audience who remained in their seats were disabled.

West was performing at in Sydney at the Qantas Credit Union Arena when he warned the audience he would stop rapping unless they all stood. It was only when one member of the audience, as TMZ reports, waved their prosthetic leg in the air that West realised that it was not possible for all members of the audience.

So he, oh so very kindly, made an exception. As one audience member told the Daily Mail, West said "I can't do this show until everybody stand up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s**t." West further warned "Imma see you if you ain't standing up, believe me, I'm very good at that."

West acknowledged the audience member waved a prosthetic leg but, after starting 'Good Life', he stopped once again when he saw another fan seated. The fan was in a wheelchair and members of the audience close to the man in question were shouting that he was disabled.

Apparently West was not content to accept the audience's word and made his security team check the seated audience member was disabled. West's bodyguard confirmed the fan was in a wheelchair and, in response, West reportedly said "He is in a wheelchair? It's fine!"

Incredibly, West found the whole situation quite irritating stating "This is the longest I've had to wait to do a song, it's unbelievable." Unfortunately, he didn't take into consideration how his bizarre response was impacting on the audience and many took to Twitter to complain about his behaviour.

This is just another incident in a series of many which makes one wonder why anyone wants to see West perform live. West has been booed on more than one occasion, most recently at the Bonaroo Festival in June 2014 when the 37-year-old rapper reportedly ranted about his own genius for more time than he performed.
