"I'm a married Christian man with a family. At my concerts, I make sure everybody has a good of a time as possible, so all this demonizing me it ain't going to work after a while," he said to the sold-out crowd.
The incident happened on the night before when West interrupted the show and requested all concertgoers to stand up, but it wasn't long before he singled out an individual who didn't oblige and asked, "Is he in a wheelchair?"

"Pick a new target. Pick a new target 'cause I'm not one of these dumb-ass artists that you're used to," he continued. "You come at me and I'm gonna take my platform and break this sh-t down for real intelligent people every night so they can understand, then we get back to the music."

During his lengthy rant, West also took aim at NBC's Matt Lauer and demanded that the 'Today' show anchor didn't force him to make "a fake-ass apology" after a clip of West telling the fans to stand up is shown on the show.
"I want you to just run the video that everyone's talking about where I so-called scream and everything. I want you to run that, right? Since it's such big media press news and everything," he added.
