Justin Timberlake Second No.1 Album Of 2013 With '20/20 Experience 2 Of 2'

This year, the Justin Timberlake maelstrom of catchy songs, radio-worthy beats and finger-snappin' hits has cleaned up the charts, with a second Number One album, The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2, to accompany March's predecessor, The 20/20 Experience.

Two top ten albums less than a year apart would be feat out of the reach of most artists, but Justin has smashed it out of the park, claiming his second No.1 with his freshly released second half of his two-part project.

Although the critics haven't adored Justin's latest offering, it's impossible to doubt that the new material offers plenty of catchy songs, evoking a Michael Jackson-era disco, R&B and hiphop-infused sound. The new album is also darker than Part 1, with more of a focus on the slick New York night time dance culture with tracks such as 'TKO' and 'Take Back The Night.'

Justin's new album debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100, according to Billboard, selling 350,000 copies within a week. The 32 year-old singer has also become the only act of 2013 to sell 300,000 copies in a week of two different albums and he continues to be the only act of the year to sell more than 300,000 copies of an album sustained over multiple weeks.

The new offering was available to purchase on its own to add to the March forerunner. However, for true JT fans, there is the option to buy a "complete" edition which combines both Parts 1 and 2.

Where To Next? Three No.1s In A Year? The Sky's The Limit...

Timberlake isn't the only performer of 2013 to score two No. 1s, after country star Luke Bryan debuted at No. 1 in March with the compilation Spring Break...Here to Party, and followed up 23 weeks later with the No. 1 smash of his studio album Crash My Party. Apparently, the last act to release two No.1 studio albums faster than Justin has done this year was metallers System of a Down in 2005 with Mesmerize and Hypnotize.

Meanwhile, Drake's Nothing Was The Same has fallen to second place and Lorde settles for third with Pure Heroin.
