The L.A County Sheriff's department have searched the home of Justin Bieber following allegations of the singer throwing eggs at his neighbors property.

The 19 year-olds house, in the Calabasas gated community, was searched on Tuesday morning (Jan 14th) around 8 a.m., after a felony search warrant was issued, CBS Los Angeles reports.

According to reports, the police officers were searching for evidence of Bieber throwing eggs at his neighbor, including video documentation and other objects used to vandalise the home.

The 'Love Me' singer caused an estimated $20,000 worth of damage.

"We collected evidence related to that crime. Mr. Bieber was present and cooperative. He was not arrested," Det. Dave Thompson told reporters.

Police also stumbled on something else during the search, an unidentified man was found to have an unspecified amount of cocaine in his possession, police arrested the individual, who is believed to be a friend of Bieber's, but is unrelated to the egg-throwing incident.

TMZ reports, the male who was arrested for felony drug possession is known as Lil Za, and the authorities also found Xanax, which allegedly belonged to Za also.

The 'Believe' hit maker allegedly began throwing eggs at a house in the Calabasas neighbourhood near Los Angeles, in which he owns a mansion, on Thursday night (Jan 8th).

The man who owned the property, along with his terrified daughter, videotaped the incident from their second floor balcony.

The clip is dark but an intense exchange between the pair can be heard, the neighbor yells, "I see you. I f**king see you!"

Then Justin shouts back, "F**k you! I got another one for you, actually!"

This continues until the neighbor tells his 13 year-old daughter to phone the police.

Bieber is still considered a suspect in a misdemeanour vandalism case.

CBS Los Angeles also claims that twelve detectives and eight patrol cars arrived at Justin's house but Det. Dave Thompson reiterates "none of this has anything to do with him being a celebrity."
