The troubled singer could face another trial soon.
This probably isn’t the Bieber news fans have been waiting for, but at least the fading pop star is making headlines again. The 20-year-old singer is being investigated again for – get this – an attempted robbery. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bieber has been accused of the attempted robbery, which occurred earlier on Monday in Sherman Oaks, CA.
"Detectives are currently interviewing the victim. It was reported at 10.30 p.m. Monday night to our Devonshire location and occurred earlier in the day in the Valley," Officer Rosario Herrera told The Hollywood Reporter. "As of right now, no arrest has been made.”
Here comes another round of Justin's legal troubles.
The LAPD is yet to confirm any of the details about the robbery, announced online. According to TMZ, took place at a miniature golf and batting cage park in Sherman Oaks, where a woman with her daughter took photos of Bieber. The singer allegedly reacted by taking her phone and screaming at both the mother and the daughter, making the girl cry.
The pop star's Miami trial for driving under the influence and other charges will begin on July 7, after his lawyers asked for it to be delayed to examine evidence and discuss whether to accept a possible plea deal. There is also the matter of his investigation for vandalism, after he allegedly egged a neighbor’s house in Los Angeles.
The singer got off easy from his latest altercation - he was detained at Los Angeles International Airport on April 24 and questioned by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officials after returning from Asia, but he was released after a few hours.
The singer is still due in court on his vandalism charge.
