In startling Justin Bieber news, photos have emerged from the star’s recent photo shoot with Calvin Klein that appear to indicate that the finished articles were re-touched via Photoshop.

The 20 year old pop megastar was recently unveiled as the face of Calvin Klein’s new underwear adverts, alongside British model Lara Stone. The pictures immediately became the focus of a lot of celebrity gossip and speculation, with the star looking remarkably stacked.

But blog BreatheHeavy.com has reportedly had access to ‘before and after’ photographs that show the artificial hand of airbrushing at play. It must be said that the ‘before’ photos are also pretty impressive, but Bieber looks wiry and trim rather than muscle-bound.

The Canadian star had previously claimed that his impressive physique was down to regular, intense gym sessions with his trainer, but the new photos seem to suggest that he was exaggerating. “I work out with my trainer, Patrick Nilsson, five days a week for about 45 minutes each,” he said to Us Weekly earlier this week. “We do three days splits: back and triceps one day, chest and biceps on day two, shoulder and legs on day three, and abs every other day. I'm not on a special diet, but I do try to watch what I eat. I do eat unhealthy sometimes - I am a 20-year-old guy!”

Furthermore, an unnamed source close to the photoshoot revealed that Bieber’s behaviour was less than exemplary. “He was basically a douche,” the source claimed. “He hit on Lara several times and she had to stop him, basically calling him out on being just a child… Bieber specified he wanted to look taller and buff. Bigger bulge implied.”

Calvin Klein has officially denied these rumours, it must be emphasised. "Justin showed up early every day with amazing energy; he completely trusted us and gave it his all," a spokesman told Us Weekly.

In other news, Bieber is reportedly very happy to be considered as a sex symbol. In the same interview with Us Weekly, he said “I don't know if I'm a sex symbol or what that even means. But if I am one, fine by me!” He added that he hopes that the adverts will become as iconic as Mark Wahlberg’s in the ‘90s.
