Jennifer Lopez is hot property right now and isn't showing any signs of slowing down as she gears up to promote her latest film, The Boy Next Door. The 45-year-old mother of two has recently released her eighth studio album, A.K.A, and made waves following her collaboration with Australian rapper, Iggy Azalea, on her single Booty which, incidentally, the video showed a lot of.

Lopez doesn't seem to have scaled back the sexiness in her new role as a teacher, Claire, who has an affair with Noah, the teenage boy from next door while her marriage falls apart around her.

But this isn't a sweet, love conquers all rom-com, and instead Lopez's character is faced with a student who can't get over her after their night of passion and is willing to go to any lengths, including threatening her home, family life and young son, to get what he wants.

This psychological thriller explores hidden attraction gone wrong and is directed by Rob Cohen who steered the Fast and the Furious.The film also stars Ryan Guzman, John Corbett and Kristin Chenoweth.

Of course, this isn't J-Lo's first foray into movies but don't go to her back catalogue for definite guidance on how good or bad this latest production will be.

While she has impressed audiences and some critics with favourable roles in her 2004 film Shall We Dance opposite Richard Gere and the 2005 motion picture Monster-in-law with Jane Fonda, she was also one half of Bennfier which saw then couple J-Lo and Ben Affleck star in Gigli - considered to be one of the worst films of all time.
