Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most desired actresses in Hollywood today but it wasn't smooth rise to the top as she had to deal with her fair share of showbiz bullies.

The 23 year-old recently graced the cover of Harper's Bazaar UK and told the magazine, "I was young. It was just the kind of s**t that actresses have to go through. Somebody told me I was fat, that I was going to get fired if I didn't lose a certain amount of weight.

"They brought in pictures of me where I was basically naked, and told me to use them as motivation for my diet" she explained.

It seems no matter how much success Lawrence achieves, she will never forget how those cheap digs affected her, "They thought that because of the way my career had gone, it wouldn't still hurt me. That somehow, after I won an Oscar, I'm above it all. 'You really still care about that?"

She added, "Yeah. I was a little girl. I was hurt, It doesn't matter what accolades you get. I know it'll never happen to me again".

Now the 'Silver Linings Playbook' star feels confident enough in the limelight and her present mind-set is simple, "If anybody even tries to whisper the word 'diet,' I'm like, 'You can go f--k yourself".

Lawrence also discussed her awkward stuttering and behaviour at award shows, "I'm uncomfortable and when people get uncomfortable they resort to their s***. I make awkward jokes and stutter".

The 'X-Men' actress also reflected on the Oscars when she lost her footing on the way to the stage, "That was actually a moment when I really wanted it to be special. That was not the time I wanted to be the down-home girl. I wanted to be graceful".

Lawrence istarted filming for 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' alongside Liam Hemsworth in Georgia last week. She will also be returning to the big screen with the second instalment in the sci-fi adventure series as 'The hunger Games: Catching Fire' will be released on November 21s 2013.
