Jennifer Lawrence is everywhere these days – including, as it turns out, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels’ Dumb and Dumber sequel, Dumb and Dumber To. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Oscar-winning actress is currently filming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay at a set nearby and she recently spent a day on the Dumb and Dumber To location, along with the entire Mockingjay cast.
Carrey and co. recently had a surprise guest on set.
The actress reportedly used the occasion to lend her own star power to the next installment in the story of Harry and Lloyd. According to THR, Lawrence will play a younger version of Kathleen Turner’s character. This installment in the franchise will track Harry and Lloyd’s adventures as they embark on a road trip to find Lloyd’s long lost daughter. So far, Turner, Rachel Melvin, Laurie Holden, Steve Tom and Rob Riggle have all been announced to be on the cast.
Lawrence will likely play a younger version of Kathleen Turner's character.
Lawrence, on the other hand, might have only made the one day of filming, because of her packed filming schedule. After winning an Oscar for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, 23-year-old Jennifer Lawrence quickly emerged as one of the most sought after young actresses in Hollywood. She just recently wrapped David O. Russell's American Hustle and X-Men: Days of Future Past. She is in production on the third and fourth installments in Lionsgate's Hunger Games franchise and, of course, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is due to be released on November 11.
Lawrence has plenty of work lined up these days.
