Husband and wife united to wow fans and perform 'Tom Ford' together.
Rapper Jay Z and singer Beyoncé joined forces for the third and final 'Mrs Carter' show to officially christen Brooklyn's Barclays Center. Jay Z had joined his pop diva wife on stage during her previous two performances, to play rap-infused R&B songs such as 'Crazy In Love,' but their third and final night (Mon 5th Aug) was a little more special.

As Beyoncé and her dancers performed 'Bow Down', the lights suddenly changed, the dancers strutted offstage and Jay Z swaggered on to the scene ready to rap.

It's hard to tell from the videos whether Jay Z's sudden appearance was planned but the crowd - who went berserk at the sight of the '99 Problems' star - certainly weren't expecting their favourite rapper to drop in.

Jay Z broke into a performance his 'Tom Ford' song from his latest album, Magna Carta Holy Grail. Evidently impressed by the reception her hubby was getting, Beyoncé sat down to take it all in and have a rest.

Soon however, the star was up and began to deliver backing vocals to Jay's song - she is of course credited with BVs as 'Third Ward Trill' on several MCHG tracks. After they'd finished showing off their mega-talented husband/wife duo, they slow-danced out of the spotlight, exchanged a kiss and Bey broke back into 'Bow Down' with her dancers like nothing had ever interrupted her.
When Jay Z played the Barclays Center last year, Beyoncé was invited to perform on the final night too.

Last night marked the final date of the first leg in Beyoncé's sold-out 'Mrs Carter' world tour, even though she'll manage to fit a few festivals into the rest of this summer. The huge globe-conquering tour will then continue to Latin America and New Zealand before another string of US dates at the end of the year, finally wrapping up on 22nd December.
