The 36 year-old Brit's debut as host of the 'Late Late Show' will take place on March 9th, 2015.
James Corden's stint as the host of CBS's 'Late Late Show' will begin on March 9th of next year, the network announced Thursday (Oct 23rd), as he will be replacing the current talk show's host Craig Ferguson, who will leave in December.

Additionally CBS also announced thst fellow Brit Ben Winston will be moving to the CBS Television City lot in Los Angeles as well, becoming the executive producer of the new 12:37 a.m. show.
Winston is the current executive producer of the British X Factor, and is well known for his work in television, commercials and films. He and Corden have been close friends since they were 17 years-old, and have collaborated together on Corden's four years as emcee of the Brit Awards.

"We're excited to begin CBS's next chapter after midnight and introduce James' wide range of performance talents and fearless creative instincts to American television viewers," said CBS Entertainment chairman Nina Tassler. "He and Ben have been friends for a long time and partnered together on a variety of successful projects. They are a creatively dynamic and very energetic host/producer combination."
Corden's successful career took off when he co-created the award-winning British series 'Gavin & Stacy,' he also starred as Paul Potts 2013's 'One Chance,' and he can be next seen in the movie 'Into the Woods,' which premieres in December. He has also won a BAFTA Award, a Tony Award, and currently hosts the U.K. sports-themed comedy game show 'A League of Their Own.'
