Jaimie Alexander made sure all eyes were on her at the Thor: The Dark World premiere when she arrived in the most revealing dress we've seen all year. However, everyone's thoughts were mulling over whether Jaimie's Thor character, Lady Sif, was actually going to turn out to be Wonder Woman.

Could Jaimie Alexander's Be The Face Of Wonder Woman?

If it emerges that Sif will be the female lead in the upcoming Superman Vs. Batman movie, then a Wonder Woman transformation will be a sure bet. Otherwise, it could turn out that Wonder Woman has her own movie with Alexander attached.

The rumours haven't exactly been quashed by Jaimie, who apparently hinted at her future involvement as Wonder Woman according to film blogger Mark Hughes who tweeted after Stan Lee's Comikaze convention in L.A last week. He wrote: "Jaimie Alexander has been having "comversations" w/ WB/DC. She also knows things a/b BATMAN VS SUPERMAN's story. Do the math... #Comikaze13."

At the convention, Alexander also reportedly confirmed that a third Thor film was in the works after the first two movies had both been box office smashes. Following her Comikaze hints, Jaimie has clarified what she said, via Forbes. "I would love for DC to put Wonder Woman in one of their upcoming flicks, either in her own movie or Batman vs. Superman, or just something even to introduce her," she confessed.

She continued, courting the speculation of Wonder Woman cropping up in one of the upcoming films: "Being in the comic book world, we know a lot of the same people at DC and Marvel, so we hear a lot of things, but it's all speculation right now. But I would absolutely love that. Thankfully and gratefully, I'm appreciative to the people who ask my opinion of the character, and that's been pretty amazing."

Jaimie's Apparently A Comic Book Fan Too.

The 29 year-old is the current fan favourite to take on the world's most famous female superhero and revealed that she'd been "having discussions with both companies [Marvel and DC]" though she did not explain what was discussed.

"I would love for there to be a spinoff film," says Alexander of her Sif role. "I would absolutely say 'yes!' If the fans want it and there's a strong enough desire for it, it will happen. So, fingers crossed!"

To further stoke the flames of excitement for Zack Snyder's 2015 Superman Vs. Batman, in which Henry Cavill's Superman and Ben Affleck's Batman will apparently do battle, it has surfaced that another scene has been shot another scene after their previous shoot at Los Angeles' Weingart Stadium.
