House of Cards is back for season 3 in February. Can you wait until then?
Frank Underwood will begin his Presidential reign on House of Cards season 3 on February 27, 2014. Netflix announced the premiere date on Monday (December 1, 2014), releasing a 12-second teaser trailer showing Frank (Kevin Spacey) and Claire (Robin Wright) boarding Air Force One.

Anticipation for season 3 is high following the unexpected and often bizarre events of season 2, when major character Zoe Barnes was killed off. It concluded with Mr Underwood double-crossing his own President and taking control of the Oval Office. As with previous episodes, all of season 3 will be available from February 27.
Robin Wright plays the scheming Claire Underwood - one of House of Cards' most powerful characters
Netflix are keeping most of season 3 under wraps - including the amount of episodes we'll get - though we do know that Russian activists Pussy Riot will be making an appearance and that Tony Gilroy (Michael Clayton, Duplicity) has been added to the crew as a consultant.

Gilroy's brother Dan recently directed the disturbing drama Nightcrawler, featuring a career best performance by Jake Gyllenhaal.
The announcement comes just a month after the death of House of Cards actress Elizabeth Norment, 61, who played Underwood's executive secretary Nancy Kaufberger. The popular actress lost her battle with cancer.
Writing on his Twitter page at the time, Spacey wrote: "RIP Elizabeth Norment. We all loved her and she leaves a void in all of us here at HoC's."
