Drake Cancels Philadelphia Concert From The 'Would You Like A Tour?'
Drake's 'Would You Like A Tour?' has taken another blow as it is forced to cancel its Philadelphia concert in the Wells Fargo Center.
Drake's 'Would You Like A Tour?' was previously postponed for three weeks and now only two shows in another cancellation has occurred.
The Tour kicked off in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Friday (Oct 18th) and the next scheduled show was the follow day in Philadelphia, but the Canadian rapper has been forced to postpone the concert.
The 'Hold On We're Going Home' singer's fans had already started filling the Wells Fargo Center and they show was reportedly cancelled nearly an hour after Drake was expected to hit the stage at 7pm, Philly.com reports.
A recorded voice at the venue started to rely the message;
"The Drake concert scheduled for Saturday, October 19 has been postponed. A new date has not yet been determined. Tickets for tonight's show will be honored for the new date. If you wish to have tickets refunded, you must do so at the point of purchase."
The cancellation resulted from an "unexpected technical issue", which was echoed by 'InFlexWeTrust's' Marisa Mendez who posted on twitter, "Word is that the stage set-up wasn't safe because the production team got there too late and couldn't set up properly".
Drake already postponed his headlining tour for nearly three weeks as it was originally scheduled to begin at the end of September.This was due to the 26 year-old having "an intense rehearsal schedule and technical production requirements that will be part of the show," according to his reps who released the statement.
The tour couldn't have started worse- hopefully there will be no more problems for the 'Started From The Bottom' singer for the reminder of the tour.
The 'Would You Like A tour?' is in support of his third studio album 'Nothing Was the Same' which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
Drake's 2nd tour date in Philadelphia has been cancelled
