Vehicle offences, drug possession, weapons, animal cruelty: it's just one crime after another for Earl Simmons, AKA DMX.

DMX In Trouble With The Law Again.
The performer, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was arrested as he was driving up to the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport early on Monday evening and spent a few hours in jail. Airport police familiar with Simmons and his lengthy arrest history stopped the rapper and found that the 421 year-old did not have a valid licence. He was booked at 6:27 p.m. local time and was taken to Spartanburg County Detention Center before he posted a $1,335 bond on the charges.
The Rapper Had Been Driving Without A Valid Licence.
This latest arrest is just the tip of the towering iceberg of crime that 'Dark Man X' has accrued in his life. In 1999, he and his wife, Tashera Simmons were arrested and charged with animal cruelty and both weapon and crack cocaine possession. In 2000, he served a 15 day jail sentence for marijuana possession; a crime along with animal cruelty that he has been arrested for several times again since leaving jail.
In 2010 he was sentenced to another 90 days in jail for reckless driving and was arrested for the same offence in 2011 having reportedly been seen driving at 102mph in a 65mph zone without a licence, although he disputed the recorded speed.
Unfortunately For Simmons, The SC Cops Were Familiar With Him & His Crimes.
August this year saw the It's Dark and Hell is Hot rapper arrested in South Carolina after the truck he was a passenger in got pulled by cops for performing an illegal U-turn. Not only did Simmons have an outstanding warrant for driving under suspension but marijuana was also found in the truck leading to DMX and the driver both being charged with possession.
DMX has not yet publically commented on this latest incident.
