David Bowie Fan? Then We Have Some Good News
Is David Bowie preparing a new album?
David Bowie has promised that more new music is on the way, following his surprise comeback in 2013. A statement from the musician was read out at a fundraising event for the Terrance Higgins Trust in a bar in Denmark Alley, London.

It read: "This city is even better than the one you were in last year, so remember to dance, dance, dance. And then sit down for a minute, knit something, then get up and run all over the place. Do it. Love on ya. More music soon. David."
Bowie's spokesperson has confirmed that the statement was indeed written by him.
In one of the biggest surprises to hit the music business in decades, Bowie recorded new album The Next Day before releasing first single Where Are We Now? completely unannounced earlier last year. The album peaked at number two in the US Billboard charts and topped the UK albums chart.

Fans had hoped the new music would encourage Bowie to perform live - and there was some speculation that he would headline Glastonbury Festival - however, he is yet to announce any touring plans.
After winning Best British Male at the Brit Awards in February, Bowie sent supermodel Kate Moss to collect his award for him, writing in his speech, "I'm completely delighted to have a Brit for being the best male - but I am, aren't I Kate? Yes. I think it's a great way to end the day. Thank you very, very much and Scotland stay with us."
