One more time? Yep that’s right: David Beckham loves playing with a bit of lego, and finds building with the interlocking blocks to be a therapeutic activity.

The former Manchester United, England and – most recently – Paris St. Germain player opened up on his brick-building activities to The Sunday Times Magazine.

"When the kids finish school, they might have different activities going on, like football or rugby but when they get home we'll often play one of their favourite games, like Connect 4," he explained.

"They also love Lego. So do I. The last big thing I made was Tower Bridge. It was amazing. I think Lego sometimes helps to calm me down,” added Beckham, who is now living back in London after a long stint living in the U.S.A while playing for L.A Galaxy.

The Tower Bridge Lego set, by the way, is no kids’ toy. Well, it sort of is, but it features 4,287 bricks, costs in excess of £210 and is recommended for those aged 16 and over. "I love living back in London," Beckham added.

"I enjoy its big parks, especially ones like Battersea. I love walking through them after I've been playing five-a-side with some friends." He added: "One thing I really love about being back here is the pubs - I even have a couple of locals that I actually go to. The people there know me, so it's easy enough to go in and have a pint."

We’re not sure how Becks can walk through parks and grab a pint in a pub without getting mobbed, but if he can, good luck to him.
