"We've spent two years getting this together," said Daniel Craig while discussing the announcement of 'Spectre' "and there's been so much hard work and effort". For his fourth outing in the iconic role of James Bond, Craig will reunite with director Sam Mendes and the cast of 'Skyfall', as well as bringing an old foe back from the Sean Connery days.

When asked about the return of Mendes as the film's director, Craig responded by saying "He's the only guy for the job. He did such a wonderful job with 'Skyfall' and came down to do the next one and it just seemed to be the obvious choice." Following on from 'Skyfall' is not going to be an easy task, however, as the third film in the Bond reboot series made over 1 billion USD worldwide and took home two Academy Awards. Furthermore, the recent Sony hacks have revealed that 'Spectre' was supposedly coming in far over budget, and with a script that needed drastic work.

Craig was certainly optimistic for the film; in part due to the tremendous cast assembled for the movie. "Not only have we got Ben [Whishaw] (Q) and Naomi [Harris] (Moneypenny) back, and obviously Ralph [Fiennes] (M) and Rory [Kinnear] (Tanner), but some more amazing people - I don't know how we do it - seem to want to come and get involved in the madness, which is just all our gain." These "amazing people" include 'Guardians Of The Galaxy''s Dave Bautista (Mr. Hinx), 'Sherlock''s Andrew Scott (Denbigh), 'Blue Is the Warmest Colour''s Léa Seydoux (Madeleine Swann) and 'The Matrix Revolutions''s Monica Bellucci (Lucia Sciarra). Oh, and two time Academy Award-winner Christoph Waltz (Oberhauser).

Aside from Waltz' casting, the thing that has people most interested about 'Spectre' is, well, Spectre. Long-term fans of Fleming's work will know two primary things about Spectre: 1, they have been James Bond's enemy since the very beginning (and before 'Quantum' was thought up to replace them for copyright reasons) and 2, they are led by the bald, cat stroking Blowfeld (whom people still think is the true identity of Waltz' character). "It is the most exciting part of this movie, really - or, ONE of the most exciting parts of this movie - is that we've got the chance to use that organisation and all that that brings with it."
