Clint Eastwood's Wife Files For Divorce After 17 Years Of Marriage
Clint Eastwood's wife, Dina, is now ready to end their 17 year marriage for good.
Another Hollywood marriage ends. Dina Eastwood, Clint's wife, files for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences."
The former E! reality star filed the papers on Monday(Oct 21st) in Monterey County Superior Court in Carmel, California, according to People.
The announcement of their divorce came just over one month after Dina requested that her petition for a legal separation be dismissed, which she filed on September 9th.
It is thought she withdraw her request to protect their $375 million fortune.
The couple announced they have been separated for a lengthy period of time this past August (2013) and Clint now is living with his new girlfriend, Erica Tomlinson-Fisher. Bizarrely, Fisher is the ex-wife of Dina's current boyfriend Scott Fisher.
Us Weekly reported, a source close to Dina told the magazine, "Dina could not handle how Clint decided to live with his new girlfriend and her son. It tortured her. She was deciding what to do and figure out the best course of action given this news so she withdrew the separation. But she decided this is what she needed to do now. She has been devastated."
The couple married in March 1996 and have one daughter together called Morgan, born 1996. The soon to be ex Mrs Eastwood wants full custody of the 16 year-old in the divorce as well as wanting Clint to pay for all legal fees and spousal support.
Clint has eight other children from five different relationships, so child support must be the reason why the actor/director is still working at the ripe old age of 83. Apart from Dina, the 'Million Dollar Baby' star has only been married once before to Maggie Johnson from 1953 to 1984.
