Chris Brown's Seizure Result Of "Emotional Stress" Due To Legal Matters And "Non-Stop Negativity"
Chris Brown's representative states his client's seizure was caused by "emotional stress" as a result of legal matters and "non-stop negativity."
Chris Brown's representatives have said his seizure on Friday morning (9th August) was the result of "emotional stress" and "non-stop negativity". A call to emergency services was made at 1am on Friday morning, according to TMZ, saying that Brown was suffering a seizure.

When the emergency services reached Brown's location (Record Plant recording studios), he refused treatment and would not be transported to hospital. The seizure is not linked to epilepsy, according to Brown's representative, but the rapper has a history of seizures according to TMZ.
In a statement to the press his representative said Brown had been treated by his own doctor who "attributes the NES to intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress", the rep claimed this was "due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the non-stop negativity."

The "unfounded legal matters" refers to a continuing legal battle concerning Brown's involvement in a hit-and-run incident. Most of the minor charges were dropped against the hip-hop artist. However, he remains under probation and is due in court for a probation hearing on 19th August. Brown's attorney believes the other charges against him will be dropped; he is due to appear in court on Thursday (15th August) so more information will be available then.
The singer has been woeful of late, he implied last week on Twitter that he may be leaving the music business. He claimed his upcoming album X would be his last. As he has since deleted this tweet -he's not terribly consistent- this remains to be seen. He certainly seemed maudlin as he tweeted on Saturday morning: "they won't love u until u r a memory." As reported in the LA Times, he later deleted the tweet.
Brown is continuing to polish his upcoming album X, which is due in stores on August 20th.
