"The road is horrible, but the concerts are great," she revealed to Lauer and Guthrie. She added, "I understand why guys in bands tear up hotel rooms and throw TVs out the windows, because it's a very lonely place. The only time you have fun is at the concerts."

The tour will take the entertainer to 49 cities across the continent, kickstarting her stay on the road in March next year in Phoenix, Arizona, and finally coming to an end on 11 July in San Diego. No date has been set for when the tickets will go on general sale, however American Express cardholders will be able to purchase tickets in advance between Monday, 30 September at 10am through to Thursday, 3 October at 10pm. Those who purchase the tickets online, both pre-sale and when they are put on general release, will also be given a free copy of her new album, Closer To The Truth, which is released on 24 September.More details on when the tour will go on general sale will be revealed on her official website.
