Bryan Cranston advises you to tread lightly, Maddie.
Maddie probably wasn't going to go to the prom with Stefan Montana. But when the 17-year-old enlisted the help of Bryan Cranston, she really had no choice - unless she wanted to end up like Gus Fring and the others.
'Breaking Bad' Is One Of The Great TV Dramas
Montana waited outside Cranston's current Broadway show All The Way to ask the actor if he would film a special proposal for his prom date to be - as his Breaking Bad character Walter White.
After agreeing, Cranston - who is easily the nicest guy in the world - looked down the lens of Montana's smart phone, adopted his meth cook guise and told Maddie, "If you don't go to the prom with Stefan, then maybe your best course of action would be to tread lightly."
After being sent the invitation on Instagram, Maddie agreed to head to the Prom with Stefan.
More: Was Breaking Bad a prequel to The Walking Dead?
Cranston played a high school chemistry teacher who turns to cooking and deal crystal meth in AMC's Breaking Bad - considered one of the best TV dramas of all time. He first delivered his famous "tread carefully" line during a confrontation with his brother-in-law Drug Enforcement agent Hank, who discovers Walt's line of business.
Speaking to the New York Daily News, Stefan said that both he and Maddie are both big fans of the Emmy Award-winning series.
"He really is the nicest guy in the world. It really is true. He's not really a celebrity, he's a dude," said Montana,
"He didn't have to help me out but it was pretty amazing," he added.
A Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul, focusing on Bob Odenkirk's character Saul Goodman, is currently in pre-production.
