Bryan Cranston joked about the Breaking Bad petition on Twitter.
Bryan Cranston has laughed off a petition signed by 6,000 concerned parents after American Toys R Us stores began selling Breaking Bad action figures. The petition stared by Susan Myers from Fort Myers, Florida, said that Toys R Us stocking the toy is "a dangerous deviation from their family friendly values."

The figurines in question are of the meth drama's main characters Walter White (Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul). White's toy comes with its own gun and both have a detachable bag of cash and another of meth.

The petition reads: "Parents and grandparents around the world shop at Toys R Us, online and in stories, with their children and should not be forced to explain why a certain toy comes with a bag of highly dangerous and illegal drugs or why someone who sells those drugs, deserves to be made into an action figure."
However, Cranston took to Twitter to play down the furore, tweeting, "Florida mom petitions against Toys 'R Us over Breaking Bad action figures." I'm so mad, I'm burning my Florida Mom action figure in protest."
As of October 21, the petition on Change.org had gathered 5,796 signatures. Aaron Paul - who is a regular Twitter user - is yet to comment.
Bob Odenkirk returns as Saul Goodman in 'Better Call Saul' - set for February 2015
Better Call Saul - the Breaking Bad spin-off show - is expected to be released on Netflix in February 2015.
Actor Dean Norris recently suggested that his character Hank Schrader "might show up" in a later season of the show, though he isn't convinced about the series as a whole.
"I'm going to watch it like a mother watches her kids playing baseball or something, because I want it to be so good and I want it to work and I want it to be great," he told Screen Crush, "But I think they're going to turn that show into something completely different. And, smartly, it's going to be its own show. And maybe, years down the line, maybe I'll show up on that show. But, I'm afraid."
