The award-winning actor joked he was "so mad" at the disgruntled mother who started a petition to ban Toys 'R Us from selling action figure of the characters from the hit AMC series.
Bryan Cranston has finally addressed a disgruntled mother who is campaigning for Toys 'R Us to stop selling all 'Breaking Bad' action figures because she feels the toys promote and glories the use of drugs to young children.
The cast of 'Breaking Bad' led by Bryan Cranston as Walter White
Cranston, who portrayed the hit AMC series' main character - meth manufacturer Walter White, took to Twitter on Monday (Oct 20th) and joked about the concerned mom, identified as Susan Schrivjer from Fort Myers, who started a petition against the toy retailer, titled 'Remove Breaking Bad dolls from their shelves.'
"'Florida mom petitions against Toys 'R Us over Breaking Bad action figures.'" I'm so mad, I'm burning my Florida Mom action figure in protest," the award-winning actor jokingly tweeted.

In Miss Schrivjer's online petition, which currently has 3,818 signatures, she proclaims: "Toys R Us is well known around the world for their vast selection of toys for children of all ages. However their decision to sell a Breaking Bad doll, complete with a detachable sack of cash and a bag of meth, alongside children's toys is a dangerous deviation from their family friendly values."
The mother also gave an interview with CNN affiliate WFTX, in which she stated, "Kids mimic their action figures, if you will. Do you want your child in an orange jumpsuit?"

Toys R' Us have since addressed the matter via a statement to WFTX that read: "The products you reference are carried in very limited quantities and the product packaging clearly notes that the items are intended for ages 15 and up. Items from this TV series are located in the adult action figure area of our stores."
