Breakaway Comes To Dallas Tomorrow With The Return Of Empire Of The Sun
Breakaway will hit Texas for its second weekend with Empire of the Sun playing yet again.
Breakaway Festival will very soon arrive in Texas bringing music of all genres to the 21,000 capacity FC Dallas Stadium this weekend (September 21st 2013).
Aussie glam-pop twosome Empire of the Sun will headline the event for the second time, having previously performed alongside Bassnectar and Kendrick Lamar at the Breakaway in Columbus, Ohio last weekend (September 14th 2013). Memphis rapper Juicy J and Spanish DJ Danny Avila are the only other two acts to return for a second run, and they will be joined by hip hop legends Wu-Tang Clan, indie couple Matt & Kim and - Justin Bieber's bestie - rapper Lil Twist.
It's a short but definitely sweet event with three stages; the Main Stage which gives you the choice of sitting or standing tickets, and the Local Stage and Dance Tent at which there are no seating areas. The event has a no re-entry policy but don't worry, there will be plenty of food and beverages available on site with two bars available near the Main Stage. Also, there will be a Mechanical Bull ride near the site entrance (when in Rome!) as well as a host of other attractions, but remember that the bars are located at the other end of the stadium for a reason!
General Admission tickets for the stadium stands are priced at $49.00, while admission for the main field is a little pricier at $69.00. VIP General Admission gives you access to a private lounge and rest rooms plus a host of other goodies for $150.95.
