Brad Pitt Attacked at Maleficent Premiere. Well, Not Really.
Was Brad Pitt really "attacked" by one of Hollywood's most prolific pranksters?
Brad Pitt attacked on the Maleficent red carpet? Say, isn't this the biggest Hollywood story of the year? Well, no, not really, because Brad Pitt wasn't attacked on the red-carpet was he? Ukrainian reporter Vitalii Sediuk - known for rushing stars at premieres and giving them hugs - jumped the barrier at the Disney bash, hugged Pitt and touched him. He was then wrestled to the floor by bodyguards and led away in handcuffs.

Pitt, who has been signing autographs at the time, was not hurt and carried on regardless.
A spokesperson for the film company said: "This was an unfortunate and inappropriate incident that is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department."
A police spokesman said prankster Sediuk was held in custody on Wednesday night pending $20,000 (£12,000) bail.
"The officers who were handling him said it looked like [the attack] was intentional, but at this point, it remains to be determined," Sgt Leonard Calderon told Reuters.
It's not the first time that Mr Sediuk has made the headlines on the red carpet. At last week's Cannes Film Festival, he crawled under the skirt of Ugly Betty actress America Ferrera. At the SAG Awards in January, he dived in front of Bradley Cooper's crotch and began hugging the Hangover star, pulling the same stunt on Leonardo DiCaprio at the Santa Barbara Film Festival in February.
Going back to last year, he rushed the stage at the Grammy Awards and tried to accept Adele's award from presenters Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull. He was charged but not jailed.
However, perhaps Mr Sediuk's most notorious prank came in 2012 when he tried to kiss Will Smith on the lips at the Men In Black 3 premiere in Moscow. Unfortunately for Sediuk, Smith didn't see the funny side of it and gave him a big fat slap across the chops.
'Maleficent' - a retelling of Disney's classic Sleeping Beauty tale - hits theaters in the U.S. on Friday (May 30, 2014).
