Beyonce was performing to a packed out crowd in Montreal, Canada last night when she was caught up - quite literally - in a rather hazardous piece of stage equipment. The singer was mid-way through a rendition of 'Halo' when her hair got caught in one of the stage fans, prompting an army of stage hands to come to her rescue and pull her free from the menacing piece of stage equipment.

Beyonce showed herself as a true professional during the incident

Around halfway through her rendition of 'Halo' the singer was dragged into the stage fan hair first, but like the absolute pro that she is, she didn't miss a single note and carried on performing whilst she was being rescued. After a short struggle, one of the stage hands had to resort to using a pair of scissors to cut Mrs Carter singer free, after which Bey swanned off and continued the rest of the show as if nothing had even happened. TMZ have a video of the whole incident.

Talented, and with a sense of humour too

If that wasn't a cool enough way to react to such an incident, after the show Bey even wrote a quick ditty about the whole experience, posting her hand-written lyrics on to her Instagram page shortly after. Frankly, we couldn't think of a more poetic way to describe such an ordeal than by say "I got snatched." Her handwritten lyrics were actually a reworked version of 'Halo,' which read; "Gravity can't begiiiin/to pull me out of the fan again/I felt my hair was yankiiin/From the fan that's always hatiiiin... I got snatched (sic)!"
