'America's Got Talent' Season Eight Finds It's Vegas-Bound Star

America's Got Talent came to an end for the eighth time last night (18 September) and between a magician, a comic, a collection of singers and a Japanese performance artist, one of the final six was crowned this year's AGT winner. It was a surprise filled night as the final performers slowly dwindled away, between performances from the guest entertainers on the night, as America decided who they would press the red buzzer on and who would be going to Las Vegas with $1 million to spend.

Operatic trio Forte and songbird Cami Bradley made it to the final

Just as a recap, here's the final six, incase you forgot. There was 16-year-old Collins Key, the magician, and the comedian Taylor Williamson. Then we had the singers, Cami Bradley, Jimmy Rose and Forte, an opera trio made up of of Fernando Varela, Josh Page and Sean Panikkar. Finally there was Kenichi Ebina, who at 38, the Japanese dancer/performance artist was the oldest of the finalists. Here's how things went...

Between performances there were visits on stage by the Rockettes, Icona Pop, Earth, Wind and Fire and Luke Bryan, who performed just before we reached the final three. As for the contestant's performances, there were a few treats in store as Gavin DeGraw duetted with Bradley, Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb helped out Key, Josh Groban sang alongside Forte, Rose duetted with Dierks Bentley and Il Divo and Heather Headley performed in the background whilst Ebina danced. If that wasn't good enough, then how about Williamson turning his performance into an Inside the Actors Studio spoof, with host James Lipton even lending a hand for the routine.

America's Got Talent judges
This season's judges; Howard Stern (L), Melanie Brown (L-M), Howie Mandel (R-M) and Heidi Klum (R) have been a hit

Soon it was time to start winding down the contestants, and first to go was Cami Bradley, followed soon after by Collins Key and then Forte. With the final three remaining, it was down to Jimmy Rose, Kenichi Ebina and Taylor Williamson. Rose was the first to have his name read out, finishing third and then, Williamsons finished second and Kenichi Ebina was crowned the winner of the latest series of America's Got Talent. Did you watch it? What did you think of the final performances? And did the right person win? Let us know in the comments.
