Mischa Barton says her 'Dancing with the Stars' partner Artem Chigvintsev has given her some tough criticism during rehearsals since she told him she could handle it.
The pair are in week two of the ballroom dancing competition and the former 'The O.C.' actress has revealed Artem has upped the criticism in rehearsals since she told him she could handle it.
In her weekly blog for PEOPLE, she shared: ''Artem is very serious in rehearsals - with Russian being his first language, I have a hard time telling if he doesn't understand my jokes or he just doesn't think they're funny - but at first he was very careful with how he gave me criticism.

Robbie Savage has revealed being asked to perform at a festival to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee convinced him to dance again.
Britain's Queen Elizabeth convinced Robbie Savage to dance again.
The former footballer had vowed to give up his dancing shoes after taking part in BBC One's 'Strictly Come Dancing' but when he was asked to take part in the Jubilee Family Festival, being staged in London's Hyde Park on June 2 and 3, he couldn't say no.
Speaking at the Sony Radio Academy Awards on Monday (14.05.12), he exclusively told BANG Showbiz: ''I'm going to be dancing again at the Jubilee Family Festival in Hyde Park next month. I had said that was the end of my dancing days after 'Strictly' but when you're asked to do something for the queen you can't really say no.

Kara Tointon has emerged as a frontrunner to replace Alesha Dixon on the judging panel of the UK's 'Strictly Come Dancing' after Dixon gave up the role to jump ship and head to Itv where she'll be on the panel of the Simon Cowell-created 'Britain's Got Talent'. Tointon, who is known best for her portrayal of the 'Eastenders' character Dawn Swann on the soap between 2005 and 2009, won the competition back in 2010 beating out current 'One Show' host Matt Baker in the process. In a successful series for her she also found love, going on to form a relationship with Russian professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev.
