Arnold Schwarzenegger's wife Maria Shriver is laughing off reports she'll run for the actor-turned-politician's job as Governor of California when he steps down from office next year (10).
Shriver, a Democrat and member of American politics' famous Kennedy family, was rumoured to be interested in campaigning for her Republican husband's office after his term comes to an end in January 2010.
But the former news correspondent has dismissed the claims, insisting she's happy with her current work as an author and philanthropist and is not suited to life behind a desk.
She says, "I'm not really comfortable in the office. I'm too much of a free spirit.
"I'm trying to use my entire life experience from being in a public family, my experience as a reporter, and everything else in the work I'm doing right now."
